Terms of Service

These terms cover every order you place with Vaelolab, based in Toronto, Ontario. By paying for an order you agree to them. If anything is unclear, email hello@vaelolab.com before you order.

1. Business Health Report ($49 CAD)

What you get: a written report, delivered as a PDF by email, that scores six areas of your business (Google profile and local search, reviews, website, social pages, offer and pricing clarity, follow up), explains what we found, ranks your top three fixes and includes a 30 day action plan and suggested wording.

Timing: your report arrives within 2 business days of us receiving both your payment and your completed questionnaire.

What it is not: the report is our professional opinion based on what is publicly visible and what you tell us. It is not legal, tax or financial advice, and we cannot promise any specific result.

Refunds: if you have not sent the questionnaire yet, email us and we refund you in full. If we cannot deliver your report within 5 business days of receiving your questionnaire, we refund you in full. Once a report is delivered, we do not refund for a change of mind, but if something in it is clearly wrong about your business, tell us and we will correct it.

2. Video ads

Quick Cut ($49 CAD): one 15 second AI generated ad clip. We choose the creative direction from your product image and one line of message. One revision round, limited to text changes. Product footage beyond the clip is supplied by you, or added for an extra fee agreed in advance.

Your Way ($139 CAD): one finished ad of about 35 to 45 seconds, built to your direction (scenes, lines, angles, look). Two full revision rounds and custom hook variations.

Bundle ($549 CAD): five videos in any mix of Quick Cut and Your Way, each delivered under the rules of its tier, with priority turnaround.

Optional monthly plan ($1,599 CAD): fifteen videos per month. It is billed monthly and you can cancel before your next billing date.

Own Your Avatar (from $399 CAD): a custom AI character reserved for your company. The final price depends on complexity and is confirmed with you before work starts.

Turnaround: for standard projects, your first draft is delivered within 48 hours of us receiving both your payment and a complete brief, meaning at least one clear product image or product page link and a line on what the ad should say. Larger work can take longer, and we tell you the timing before you commit.

Revisions: a revision round is one consolidated set of changes sent after a draft. Changes that amount to a new concept, or extra rounds beyond your plan, can be quoted separately. Because footage is AI generated, some details, such as a precise gesture, cannot be fully controlled. If one detail is essential, tell us in your brief.

3. Video ad refunds and cancellation

• Before we start work: cancel by email and we refund you in full.
• After a draft is delivered: your included revision rounds are how we get the ad right, so we do not refund for a change of mind.
• If we cannot deliver: if, after the included revisions, we cannot produce an ad that matches your brief, we refund you in full.
• Bundles: if you cancel a bundle part way, we refund the videos we have not started, at the bundle rate.

Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe.

4. AI and usage rights

What you own. Once an order is delivered and paid in full, you may use the final ad or report for any lawful purpose for your own business, with no time limit. Editable project files are not included unless agreed in writing.

Music and stock elements. Anything we add to your ad, such as music or stock elements, is cleared for commercial use in advertising.

Our portfolio. We only show your work publicly if you give us permission.

Avatars. An avatar built under Own Your Avatar is reserved for your company. Because it is AI generated, we cannot guarantee that no similar looking face exists or could be generated by others.

AI labels. Some ad platforms ask advertisers to label AI generated or altered content. You decide how your ad is published, so following each platform's labelling rules is your responsibility.

5. What you supply, and what we will not make

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us, and that the claims in your brief about your product are true.

We will not produce:

• Fake customer reviews or testimonials, or invented results
• Claims about your product that are misleading or that you cannot back up
• The likeness of a real person without their permission, including celebrities and creators
• Content for products or services that ad platforms or Canadian law prohibit

We may decline or stop an order that breaks these rules, and refund any work not yet started.

6. Limits

We cannot promise how an ad will perform or what results a report's recommendations will bring, and we are not responsible for decisions an ad platform or search engine makes about your account. Our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

7. Free guides, tools and outside links

Our guides, tool profiles, deals and calculators are general information for small businesses. They are not legal, tax or financial advice. Prices, plans and offers belong to the companies that sell them and can change after the date we checked; always confirm on the official site before you buy. We are not responsible for other companies' websites, products or terms.

8. Prices, governing law and changes

All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. We may update these terms, and the version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
