Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Vaelolab collects, why, and what we do with it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. What we collect

• Contact details: your name, email address and business name, when you email us, fill in a form or place an order.
• Your brief and files: product images, links, logos, footage and instructions you send for your ad.
• Payment details: payments are handled by Stripe. We see your name, email, the amount and the order, but never your full card number.
• Basic technical data: our website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

2. How we use it

• To make and deliver your ad, and handle revisions
• To process payments and refunds, and keep records required by tax law
• To reply to your questions

We do not sell your information, and we do not send you marketing email unless you ask us to.

3. AI tools and your files

To generate footage, your images and instructions are processed by third party AI generation tools, under those providers' own terms. We send only what is needed to make your ad.

We never use your files to train AI models. Your product photos and brand assets are used only to produce your order.

If your files include photos of real people, please make sure those people have agreed to appear in an ad.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the business: Stripe (payments), Formspree (website forms), Cloudflare (website hosting, email routing and video delivery), Google (email), and AI generation tools (footage). Some of them store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

5. How long we keep it

We delete your source files within 90 days of final delivery, unless you ask us to keep them for future orders. Order and payment records are kept as long as Canadian tax law requires.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to legal record keeping. Email hello@vaelolab.com and we will reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
